“Working with quality cotton papers, reclaimed screens and a hand rolled press is what gives my work a hand crafted look. Inspired by all things print, I experiment with strong colours as my base shape and then see how far I can push the colour contrast in the background. The strongest contrast of all, black, is paired with a bright pop of colour to lift the detail off the page. I love to combine a few different print techniques to give my work a really unique visual language. Marks that are made from reclaimed screens are what gives my work its unique misprint texture.”
